Starting Friday night, Sept. 20, at 9 p.m. plan for a weekend closure of seven on- and off-ramps along southbound OR 217 between Allen Boulevard and Greenburg Road for paving. Ramps will reopen by Monday morning, Sept. 23, at 5 a.m. At least one lane on OR 217 south will remain open allowing for regional traffic to continue traveling through the area.  If additional time is needed to complete the work, it will happen the weekend of Sept. 27-30. We will send out notice if the second weekend is needed.

The seven southbound ramps that will close Sept. 20-23 are:

• Allen Boulevard off-ramp
• Denney Road on-ramp
• Hall Boulevard off-ramp
• Hall Boulevard on-ramp
• Scholls Ferry Road off-ramp
• Scholls Ferry Road on-ramp
• Greenburg Road off-ramp (Sunday night only)

Overnight lane closures on OR 217, between Greenburg Road and OR 99W, will occur from Sept. 18-28 as part of the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) OR 217 Auxiliary Lanes Project. See map

Southbound lane closures (Greenburg Road to OR 99W):

• Dates: Sept. 18, 19, 20, 27 and 28
• Times: 11 p.m.-5 a.m. weekdays; 11 p.m.-6 a.m. weekends
• Southbound traffic will exit at the Greenburg Road off-ramp
• On-ramps leading to the closure area will close from Hall Boulevard, Scholls Ferry Road and Greenburg Road
• Single-lane northbound closures may also occur on these dates

Northbound lane closures (OR 99W to Greenburg Road):

• Dates: Sept. 21, 23, 24, 25 and 26
• Times: 11 p.m.-5 a.m. weekdays; 11 p.m.-6 a.m. weekends
• Northbound traffic will exit at the OR 99W off-ramp
• On-ramps leading to the closure area will close from 72nd Avenue and OR 99W.
• Single-lane southbound closures may also occur on these dates

There will be lane closures on Scholls Ferry Road at the overpass over 217 Monday, July 22 for up to four months.

One lane will be open in each direction from Washington Square Road to Cascade Avenue. No left turns will be allowed from Scholls Ferry Road heading onto the southbound OR 217 on-ramp.
