Travelers can expect lane and ramp closures through October with up to four closures of all northbound lanes in late August and September. ODOT evaluated options on how to install the new bridge joints and selected the option that keeps travel lanes open during the day.
- For up to 15 weeks starting late July, crews close three lanes on I-5 northbound and the Miley Road I-5 northbound entrance ramp near Charbonneau from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. These closures are expected five nights per week during construction.
- Starting Thursday night, travelers can expect intermittent nighttime lane closures on I-5 northbound 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. at the Boone Bridge while crews gather site information and set up the work area under the bridge.
Beginning early July, travelers will also see a crane next to the Boone Bridge for exploratory geotechnical work on a separate project. There will be shoulder closures and impacts to the trail under the bridge.
